The PhotoBookMuseum Catalog Box
On the occasion of the 175th birthday of photography, an internationally oriented expo at the Carlswerk in Cologne-Mülheim will pay homage to the photo book as a form of artistic expression from August 19, 2014. For the premiere of the PhotoBookMuseum, Kettler publishes the PBM_Catalogue Box - visually based on the traditional shipping containers in which the exhibitions in the halls of the former cable factory are largely presented. It contains 39 individual publications designed as a leaflet, brochure or poster, each dedicated to a project. The content ranges from now legendary reference works on the history of photo book culture, the experimental beginnings of the genre in the 1950s, to current artistic positions and specialist areas such as the photonovel.
