ARTHUB - First issue May to August 2025 as ePaper

Dear art lovers,

It is with great joy that I hold the first edition of our Schluh.art eV association newspaper in my hands – and now you do too. This newspaper is not only an informational publication about our art association, but also an expression of what drives us: our passion for art, our joy in creative exchange, and our desire to make art accessible in all its facets.

For many years, I have lived and worked in Worpswede, a place that combines the history and present of art like few other places. Here, where Heinrich Vogeler once developed his ideas of socially engaged art, we are now setting new impulses. Our gallery is not a static exhibition space, but a vibrant place for dialogue, experimentation, and collaborative creation.

With this newspaper, we not only want to introduce you to our current projects, exhibitions, and events, but also provide insights into our world of thought. What motivates us? What topics concern us as artists? How can we connect art and society?

We want to make the creative process transparent and enable you to participate. Because art thrives on encounters, ideas, and exchange. That's why I see this newspaper as an invitation—to share our thoughts, empathy, and perhaps even participation.

I thank everyone who contributed to this first issue and look forward to the many stories, pictures and thoughts we will share in the future.
