Kunstpfad im Schluh

Art trail in Schluh

by Markus Lippeck

We cordially invite all art lovers to a special experience as part of the Open Studios Worpswede 2025: From July 11 to 13, 2025, the historic street Im Schluh will become a lively ART TRAIL – an open space for art, encounters and movement.

Discover art where it is created:

Surrounded by nature, history, and creative energy, you will experience open-air painting, spontaneous art events, performances, music, sound installations, sculptures, and pop-up exhibitions along the trail.

What awaits you?

  • Live art in action: Artists create works directly on site
  • Performances & Theater: Surprising performances in public spaces
  • Music & Sound Art: Soundscapes, Concerts and Improvisation
  • Sculptures & Installations: Art that accompanies the path
  • Pop-up exhibitions: encounters with new works and their creators

The art trail begins at the Altes Rathaus gallery (Bergstraße), leads through Im Schluh street, past historic workshops and the Haus im Schluh, through natural surroundings to the Schluh gallery – a place of peace, conversation and exchange.

The Schluh connects art and nature, village and landscape – a path that inspires and moves.

With this campaign, we are expanding the creative community between Bergstraße, Findorffstraße and Hembergstraße – where projects such as D@NNY & FRIENDS, Haus 6, Mrs. Moor and Mimi's Legacy are already enriching Worpswede's art scene.

For all who want to help shape

Artists, performers, and musicians who would like to become part of the ART TRAIL are cordially invited to contribute their ideas!
